Known Issues in the Latest Release Version

Current GoldSim release: 10.5 SP2

Issue #	Module	Description	Workaround
1	External Database Template	The Simple Database template shipped with GoldSim fails to import vector data correctly.  Table relationships are broken when the template is converted to the current version of MS Access (.accbd)	Contact GoldSim support for instruction on how to repair the table relationships.

Installation and Registration Issues

Occasional license failures have been reported from GoldSim users who use Symantec, Norton or Sophos Anti-virus programs on their machines. If you also use these programs on your machine, license failures can be avoided by adding the license folder in the exclusion list of those AV programs.

Open the anti-virus program on your computer and find Exclude Lists settings dialog where you can specify add or remove folders. Add the following directory to the list:
C:\ProgramData\GTG\Lic1 (if you are using Vista or Windows 7)
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\GTG\Lic1 (if you are using Windows 2000, 2003 or XP)
