Scientific Programmer/Analyst

Job Summary

As a mid-level to senior-level staff member, you will have a direct impact as we develop new modeling capabilities to enhance GoldSim, our state-of-the-art modeling and simulation framework. Our software is used to simulate the behavior of complex systems in engineering, science and business. With users in over 30 countries, and diverse applications ranging from simulating space missions to managing water resource systems, you will have an opportunity to immediately contribute to a product that is being used to solve interesting and complex problems worldwide. 

Requirements

  • Masters or PhD level in science or engineering, with outstanding academic performance. 
  • Broad experience with applied math and numerical methods for solving science and engineering problems.
  • Significant earth sciences or civil engineering background, preferably including contaminant transport modeling.
  • Significant C++ and other programming experience.
  • Proven ability to design and implement practical numerical solutions to real-world problems.
  • Good communications skills, must write effectively and enjoy interacting with other team members.
